SUDFIRE Safety Notice

SUDFIRE is a live-fire outdoor cooking product. Use involves open flame, extreme heat, smoke, hot metal surfaces, burning wood or charcoal, ash, embers, and other hazards that may result in serious injury, death, fire, or property damage.

Core Safety Rules

Outdoor use only. Never use indoors, in a garage, tent, vehicle, covered patio, enclosed patio, balcony, shed, or partially enclosed structure.

Never leave SUDFIRE unattended while lit, hot, smoking, or cooling.

Keep children and pets at least six feet away during use and while cooling.

Use only dry, seasoned hardwood or natural lump charcoal.

Never use gasoline, lighter fluid, alcohol, kerosene, diesel, torch fuel, accelerants, treated wood, painted wood, trash, plastic, or chemical fuels.

Place only on a stable, level, non-combustible, heat-resistant outdoor surface.

Do not place directly on wood decking, composite decking, grass, artificial turf, mulch, carpet, plastic, asphalt, or heat-sensitive surfaces.

Do not move, cover, clean, or store until completely cool.

Ash and embers may remain hot for up to 48 hours. Dispose of ash only in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid placed on a non-combustible surface.
