The SUDFIRE Hearth is built for real fire, outdoor use, and years of gathering.

SUDFIRE provides a limited warranty against eligible manufacturing defects under normal residential use and proper care.

What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:

  • structural manufacturing defects

  • eligible weld defects

  • eligible cooking plate defects

  • eligible accessory defects

  • missing or defective parts reported promptly after delivery

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • normal seasoning of the cooking surface

  • Corten steel patina or weathering

  • surface rust caused by moisture, improper care, or improper storage

  • heat marks, discoloration, scratches, or cosmetic wear

  • finish changes from fire, heat, weather, or normal use

  • damage from improper fuel

  • damage from accelerants

  • damage from treated wood, painted wood, trash, plastics, chemicals, or unsafe fuel

  • damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance

  • damage from indoor use

  • damage from unsafe placement

  • damage from use under covered, enclosed, or combustible areas

  • damage from moving the product while hot

  • damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • damage during customer handling, assembly, moving, or placement

  • commercial, hospitality, rental, or event use unless approved in writing by SUDFIRE

  • freight damage not reported within the required delivery inspection window

Real Fire Changes the Product

A SUDFIRE Hearth will change with use.

The cooking surface will darken and season. Corten steel will patina. Heat, flame, oil, food, smoke, and weather will leave marks over time.

These changes are expected and are not defects.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, email:

info@sudfire.com

Please include:

  • name

  • order number

  • product model

  • finish

  • delivery date

  • description of issue

  • photos or video of the issue

  • photos of the full product and placement area

SUDFIRE will review the claim and determine the appropriate next step.

Warranty Remedies

If SUDFIRE determines that a valid warranty claim exists, SUDFIRE may provide one or more of the following:

  • care guidance

  • replacement part

  • repair guidance

  • product repair

  • replacement product or component

  • partial credit

  • another remedy determined by SUDFIRE

The remedy will be determined by SUDFIRE based on the issue, product condition, availability, and applicable law.
